The best local stories often start with a tip from someone who lives it. If something in your community deserves attention — a problem, an event, an unsung person, a question no one’s answering — tell us about it.

What makes a good pitch

• A clear, local angle — something happening in our community.
• Why it matters now, and who it affects.
• Any documents, photos, names, or sources that help us tell the story.

What happens next

Our editors review every pitch. We can’t cover everything, and we may not be able to respond to each submission, but we read them all — and many of our stories begin exactly this way.
